Position Available: Delivery Driver (Class 1)

Payrate: $26 per hour
Minimum Hours of Work Per Week: 40
Maximum Hours of Work Per Week: 45
Key Requirements:
A valid New Zealand or equivalent International Class 1 license Or Minimum of 1 year of experience Or Level 3 or above qualification.
Familiarity with logbook systems, fatigue management, and safe loading practices
Basic numeracy and literacy for delivery documentation
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently under minimal supervision
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate Class 1 delivery vehicles for scheduled freight routes within Auckland and beyond
Load, unload, and secure goods for transport, ensuring cargo safety and integrity
Complete driver logs, delivery records, and transport documentation accurately and timely
Communicate with dispatchers regarding route progress, delays, or issues
Adhere to all New Zealand transport safety and compliance regulations
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip safety checks; report any vehicle or cargo defects immediately
Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with customers or warehouse staff
