We are looking for a Digital Optimisation Team Lead. This hands-on position is based in Veolia’s Ellerslie NZ Corporate Office.

What you'll be responsible for
-
Leading the team that provides BAU systems support for our operations teams such as user account management, troubleshooting, training, documentation and other continual improvement activities
-
Occasional onsite support or training around our New Zealand sites
-
Delivering on the NZ Digital Roadmap by Scoping, planning and delivering system enhancements

Being a Champion of digital transformation
What you'll need to be successful
- Demonstrated track record of leading a team of technical specialists
- Ability to roll up your sleeves and be an active part of providing business solutions
- More than 5 years experience supporting complex specialist systems
- Experience working with interfaces between diverse systems, data sets, and multiple information references
- Ability to apply analytical systems thinking
- Strong communication skills - you will be talking with people face to face, or calling them to understand their needs.
What will give your application an edge
- Knowledge of and experience with water infrastructure operation, field maintenance, utilities or asset management.
- Expertise in Esri ArcGIS
- Knowledge of HxGN (formerly Infor) EAM, Innovyze InfoAsset Manager or AVEVA/OsiSoft PI is advantageous, however a willingness and ability to learn is more important.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace
- Experience interfacing with IT technical support (Windows, ChromeOS, Android)
- Working knowledge of relational database principles
