As Eastland’s largest consolidated services contractor (Power, Plumbing, Electrical and Building Services), ElectriNET – part of the Horizon Energy Group – is growing, and we’re looking for a skilled Drainlayer / Plumber to join our Gisborne-based team.

The Role
Reporting to the Plumbing Supervisor, you’ll:
- Deliver plumbing and drainlaying services across installations, repairs, and maintenance – across our residential and commercial clients
- Work independently or as part of a team to get the job done right – safely, efficiently, and to industry standard
- Play a hands-on role in ensuring high-quality outcomes for our customers
What we’re looking for:
- You’re qualified – and hold a National Certificate in Plumbing & Drainlaying
- NZ registration and current practicing licence (certifying a bonus but not essential)
- Ideally, you hold 5 years’ proven plumbing/drainlaying experience
- Current manual NZ driver licence (Class 1)
- Strong technical skills – from interpreting plans to troubleshooting on the fly
- Team player with a safety-first mindset
- Physically fit and comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces
- You understand the NZ ways of working, laws and legislation – local experience is a must!
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
