As a Team Leader you will be responsible for the running of the departments, deal with customer and staff issues while the managers are not on duty. You will need to have great customer service skills and enjoy responsibility. This role is a very hands-on role, it is for someone that can set the expectations for the team to follow by working faster and harder than those they lead.
Days & Hours - 40 Hours Week
- Monday: OFF
- Tuesday: OFF
- Wednesday: 11:30am till 10:15pm
- Thursday: 11:30am till 10:15pm
- Friday: 12:00pm till 10:15pm
- Saturday: 12:00pm till 10:15pm
- Sunday: OFF
About the Role:
In our industry this role is commonly referred to as a “Duty Manager” but here at New World Green Bay we don’t manage we lead from the front and drive performance with the team. As a Team leader you are responsible to ensure that a great shopping experience for all customers happen while Department Managers aren't there.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and assist customers wherever needed.
- Oversee staffing, shop standards, and store closing processes across Dry Goods departments.
- Ensure a fresh, inviting, and seamless shopping experience for all customers.
- Contribute to achieving financial targets, including budgets, sales forecasts, and minimizing wastage.
- Work flexibly across different store departments as required.
