The University of Canterbury Students’ Association (UCSA) is a not-for-profit organisation with charity status. Montana Early Learning Centre, one of the UCSA’s two early learning centres, is licenced for 38 children and is well known for exceeding government required ratios, having a culture of kindness and respect, and being a home-away-from home for tamariki, whānau, teachers and all individuals within our learning community.
With one of our teachers going on parental leave, we now have an exciting opportunity for a permanent, full-time teacher to join our Toddler Room, working with children aged 2 to 3.5 years, who has the following qualities:
- Passion for working with young children
- Passion for quality care and building strong relationships
- Positive and professional attitude
- Friendly and welcoming disposition
- Teaching qualifications and registration
- Strong knowledge of Te Whāriki 2017
- Strengths in planning and assessment
- Enthusiasm for ongoing Professional Development
