About the Role
As a casual ECE relief teacher, you will step into early learning centres on a day-to-day or short-term basis, supporting teaching teams in providing a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for tamariki. You will play a key role in maintaining routines, engaging children in learning activities, and ensuring high standards of care and education are upheld.
Key Responsibilities
- Support learning through planned and spontaneous experiences.
- Build warm and respectful relationships with children, staff, and whānau.
- Follow the daily routines and centre policies effectively.
- Work collaboratively with centre teams and be flexible in your approach.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and inclusion of all children in your care.
