Join our team as a Facilities Manager responsible for ensuring seamless operations across our clients New Zealand property portfolio. In this role, you will be the key liaison between the client, contractors, and service providers, managing facilities operations while maintaining high quality service standards. Your expertise will be vital in coordinating maintenance activities, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
An Overview of the role:
Coordinate comprehensive facilities services including preventive and reactive maintenance, ensuring timely resolution through the Corrigo System
Monitor contractor performance and conduct regular site inspections to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with clients standards
Manage complaints, maintain service records, and deliver performance reports to stakeholders
Coordinate site operations and small-scale projects to minimise disruption to business activities
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies across the portfolio
Conduct vendor procurement and review contractor costs and workmanship quality
Manage monthly audit reports and monitor KPIs for service delivery excellence
Coordinate carpark management and other site-specific operational requirements
Collaborate with key stakeholders to optimise facilities operations and align with strategic objectives
Participate in team meetings and maintain effective communication with the management team

We're seeking a dynamic professional with exceptional leadership abilities and a strong background in facilities management. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, solutions focused, and skilled at building relationships while managing complex operational environments. If you excel at delivering exceptional service and can drive continuous improvement in facilities operations, we want you on our team.
Proven experience in facilities/property management or related field, with knowledge of critical facilities
Technical understanding of building systems (HVAC, fire protection, M&E systems, BMS)
Experience in vendor management and contract interpretation
Knowledge of local health and safety requirements
Budget management and financial analysis skills
Strong leadership capabilities with ability to balance priorities and deliver strategic solutions
