This is a truly hands-on, reactive and rewarding role - one that will see you bring your specialist skills to service any minor repairs and refrigeration maintenance across our Auckland store fleet to ensure they are fully operative, fit for service and always ready to trade!
To carry out low priority / non-urgent maintenance works, logged by stores and approved for completion by the Senior Field Engineer/Asset specialist, efficiently, cost effectively and within WOW SHE guidelines, all with a minimum of disruption to our customers.
The key responsibilities includes:
- Perform general refrigeration maintenance.
- Conduct routine checks and audits.
- Adhere to current OH&S regulations and all Woolworths policies, procedures, and instructions, including OH&S acts, regulations, and codes of conduct.
- Provide low-priority maintenance support to stores, consistently demonstrating high customer service standards.
- Identify and implement cost-saving maintenance initiatives.
- Maintain all necessary licenses for work functions.
What you’ll bring | Hei koha
You’ll work collaboratively with the wider Facilities Management team, stores and the Operations team to ensure our operational refrigeration assets are maintained in a safe, sustainable and cost effective manner, adhering to our compliance regulations too. A seasoned expert - you’ll come equipped with a L4 trade qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, a current EST licence and relevant Workplace Safety licences.
This is not your typical service technician role with no rostered call out requirement. You are able to structure your work load which provides a better work life balance. This role provides you with structure and the ability to hone your specialist skills to the best they can be!
You’ll have:
- Refrigeration and air conditioning Level 4 qualification and electrical service technician license.
- Proven experience providing maintenance services in a customer-focused setting.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing operations across multiple sites.
