Fire Equipment Technician – Fixed term
This opportunity is for an experienced fire equipment technician to join us on a fixed-term contract for 6 months to cover medical leave.

You will be a skilled Fire Equipment Technician who is passionate about the Fire Protection Industry and keen to uphold the high standards Argus Fire prides itself on.
As a Fire Equipment Technician for the Wellington region, your key responsibility will be to survey, service and sell fire equipment; training and related products to existing and prospective customers; to maintain and develop existing customer relationships and to ensure all work carried out meets agreed quality standards.
Your background
- Knowledge and understanding of all aspects of Health and Safety systems
- Working understanding and knowledge of NZS 4503
- Well-presented, highly organised, and motivated.
- Able to work effectively in a small team and independently.
- Reliable, quick learner and a proven relationship builder.
- Able to multitask and coordinate services on and off site
- NZ Building Code and NZ Standards knowledge preferred but not essential.
- Good communication and man-management skills
- Good computer skills
- Professional and positive attitude
- Energetic and customer-focused
