We are currently seeking an Onsite IT & Network Support Engineer/Technician to handle casual, freelance-style assignments in your area. Would you be open to contractual tasks? Compensation will be offered on an hourly, half-day, or full-day basis. Tickets will be assigned based on your location, and you can accept them according to your availability (weekdays or weekends).
Assignments will primarily involve L1 & L2 IT/Networking support, such as desktop assistance, hardware installation and replacement (e.g., server/rack components like hard drives), and providing onsite access (console support for Routers/Switches/Firewalls, etc.) for remote teams.
Core Skill Requirements:
✅ Strong knowledge in desktop system administration, customer support, incident/change/release handling, and support for third-party apps on Windows platforms
✅ Professionally trained & certified in IT Infrastructure Library and Windows Server Administration, with a keen interest in leveraging programming skills for process improvements
✅ Basic understanding of DHCP, DNS, IP addressing, resolving wireless LAN issues, Ethernet configuration, and subnetting
✅ Solid troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience across multiple operating systems, including iOS, Android, Windows, and Blackberry
