Torri Eatery is seeking a skilled and motivated Front of House to join our dynamic team in the heart of Tauranga City. We focus on seasonal, fresh, and well-executed brunch and cabinet offerings in a modern and new café setting. This role is vital to ensuring our customers enjoy their experience with us.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with orders
- Operate the POS system and process payments
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally
- Maintain a clean and organised café environment, including tables and all countertops
- Restock essential items such as cups, napkins and utensils
- Support barista and kitchen staff with minor preparation tasks when needed
- Handle customer enquiries and escalate issues to the manager if necessary
- Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations
- Be flexible and adaptable to support the needs of the cafe
- Follow all food safety guidelines and hygiene regulations at all times
Requirements
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- A friendly, positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling is a plus (training provided)
- Commitment to hygiene and food safety standards
