We will train you - you will be involved in sweeping, emptying exterior bins and relining, picking up rubbish in hedges etc, potentially using a leaf blower, learning water blasting and general commercial cleaning. This role would suit someone who is active and has their own vehicle or lives close to Barrington Mall - to get to site at this hour of the morning.
Shift Timings
Saturday and Sunday 1.30am - 8.15am = 12.5 paid hours/week
About You:
- Must have proven reliability for the early starts.
- Must be fit and strong to lift rubbish bins and equipment.
- At this hour of the morning you must be comfortable working outside in a public space.
- Pass background Ministry of Justice checks.
- Motivated and committed to delivery of duties ensuring client satisfaction.
- Enjoys using equipment and learning new skills, building on your previous grounds or commercial cleaning experience.
- Keen to learn new skills and routines.
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand - Have a valid New Zealand Work Visa, Resident Visa, or Citizenship before applying for this vacancy.
PLEASE NOTE: This is not an entry-level role. We do require someone with good skills to handle outdoor cleaning equipment, and someone who is prepared to be outside at this hour of the morning, cleaning up The Hub, Hornby - making it sparkle!
