Guitar teacher/tutor - part time, casual. Senior/Junior

We're looking for a part-time, casual guitar tutor/teacher to join our private music studio in Palmerston North. We have 15 tutors and teach guitar, piano/keys, drums, vocals, bass and ukulele.

Previous teaching experience isn't vital but having a positive attitude and character will certainly help.

The majority of students will be school-aged children although around 30% of our students are adults. You don't need to be a virtuoso musician (although that helps), but you do need to know your way around your instrument and be able to remember your own learning journey so you can help others along the same path. There is plenty of help available from our other tutors, as well as a library of resources.

We operate during the after-school and early evening periods, during school term times, and we would look to build your timetable around any other commitments that you have.
