Key Responsibilities
- Perform hair cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments for male and female clients.
- Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable styles or services.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the salon.
- Ensure proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Upsell retail hair care and grooming products.
- Stay updated with current hair trends, techniques, and products.
- Contribute to a welcoming and positive team culture.
- Manage bookings and communicate professionally with clients
Requirements:
- NZ Certificate in Hairdressing (Level 4) or equivalent experience of at least 3-4 years of salon experience
- Excellent cutting, colouring, and styling skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 – $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
