We have a rare opportunity that's become available for our next Head of Growth to guide and accelerate the growth of our investment funds. Reporting directly to our Chief Investment Products Officer, you'll play a critical role in shaping and executing the long-term growth and direction of MAS's investment products..
As our Head of Growth, you'll be responsible for proactively identifying and analysing emerging trends in both the New Zealand and international superannuation and investment landscapes. Leveraging these insights, you'll lead the charge in developing, refining, and enhancing our proposition and partnerships to ensure that our investment funds continue to grow. This role offers a unique platform to influence MAS's growth trajectory and will see you working alongside a small but mighty team. What your day might look like
- Identifying and analysing major trends within the New Zealand and international superannuation and investments markets and from there you'll work alongside our Head of Product Investments to deliver enhancements to our investment funds product set, driving growth in the business.
- You'll partner closely with our Distribution leaders and teams to ensure our investment advice proposition meets the needs of MAS members, and all materials, training and support required by Advisers is in place so that they can successfully sell MAS's range of investment funds to current and prospective members.
- Partnering with our Marketing team to maximise the effectiveness of their efforts to sustainably grow the MAS investment funds. This includes provision of content for articles, webinars, campaigns etc.
- Ensuring MAS growth strategy objectives are met, and key initiatives are successfully delivered whilst creating and sustaining an excellent member experience.
- Developing and managing third party relationships designed to drive growth in MAS's investment products, as well as identify and implement opportunities for new partnerships.
What we're looking for
- Senior level experience in a similar role within KiwiSaver or investments, as well as a successful record of driving growth strategies.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of New Zealand and international financial services markets as well as investment products - for example KiwiSaver and retirement funds.
- Experience or a qualification in Advice would be highly desirable
- A good understanding of investments and advice regulatory environment in New Zealand.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, you'll be a natural at building solid relationships with internal teams as well as our members and external business partners.
- A desire to network and seek out potential opportunities for MAS.
- You'll be extremely self-motivated, with a hunger to drive our business forward.
- Adaptability, decisiveness and confidence in decision making will be critical.
- Eye for detail, you know what questions to ask to challenge and help us deliver successfully.
