- Delivering both group and one-on-one wellbeing sessions that foster autonomy, resilience, and mana motuhake.
- Providing culturally safe, non-judgemental, and person-centred care tailored to each individual's goals.
- Collaborating across healthcare and social service providers to ensure holistic, wrap-around support.
- Actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within WRHN's wellbeing services.
What we're looking for
We are seeking a compassionate and proactive professional who:
- Has strong facilitation skills and enjoys leading group sessions that promote learning and connection.
- Can motivate and support individuals to identify goals, overcome barriers, and build confidence.
- Works well independently and thrives in a collaborative, fast-evolving environment.
- Brings experience in mental health, addiction support, hauora Māori, or another relevant health field.
- Has an understanding of, or a willingness to develop skills in Te Ao Māori and Pacific models of care.
What We Offer
- A dynamic, purpose-driven team committed to improving community wellbeing.
- Full training and ongoing mentoring to support your growth in the role.
- A supportive workplace culture with opportunities for continued professional development.
- The chance to be part of a forward-thinking service shaping the future of primary healthcare in our region.
Join us and make a real difference in people's lives – while growing your career in a values-based, community-focused organisation.
