About the role:
We currently have an exciting new opportunity for an outstanding health professional to join us in the role of Health Consultant. In this supported but autonomous role, you will be delivering first aid training courses and health screening services across the Waikato/BOP regions.
You will be working a minimum of 8 days per fortnight but must have the flexibility to work any days across the fortnight and undertake additional hours as required to meet business needs.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver first aid training courses in a group setting
- Deliver occupational health screening services (pre-employment and annual checks)
- Ensure compliance with external and internal processes
- Data entry
- Travel across the regions to worksites, with the occasional night away
The successful candidate will have the following:
- The right to work in New Zealand – no visa sponsorship available
- A current clean Full New Zealand Driver's Licence
- A tertiary health, or sport and exercise-related qualification
- A passion for people and preventative health care
- The ability to deliver health education in a manner that is engaging and interactive
- The ability to work at a fast pace and keep to schedule
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility across the working fortnight and able to do early starts and late finishes at times
