This is an exciting opportunity for an Insights Analyst - Remediation. In this role you will be responsible for both delivery of remediation cases providing quality insight, data and technical solutions as well as identify and implement opportunities for the team to work more efficiently through thoughtful enhancements, clear documentation, and proactive mitigation strategies. This will help us deliver remediation that’s accurate, timely, and effective for our customers.

This is a permanent, full time opportunity based in Auckland CBD. Anchor days in the office are currently Wednesday which could be subject to change.

- What are 5 day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?
- Design and refine remediation strategies to confidently tackle complex challenges.
- Play a key role in shaping reusable data assets that empower smarter, faster approaches across cases.
- Work with different teams to apply best practices that improve quality and consistency in daily tasks.
- Offer thoughtful feedback on process improvements to drive greater efficiency, accuracy, and impact.
- Keep learning and growing to stay up to date with banking knowledge and tools that support great remediation work.
What is the team culture and environment like?

One of the key challenges in this role is navigating complex and unique product scenarios. Staying calm and approaching each case with clear, logical thinking makes a big difference.

This role offers diverse and dynamic work where no two days are the same. It’s constantly evolving, with abundant opportunities to grow your banking knowledge and technical expertise.
What attributes will this person have to be successful in this role?
- 4+ years’ experience in a data role, including 2+ years with various database tools such as SAS, Snowflake or Hadoop and languages such as SQL or Python.
- 2+ years’ experience in banking or financial services, particularly in roles involving remediation, analytics, or regulatory compliance.
- Ability to plan, prioritise and manage tasks independently.
- Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders (technical and non-technical).
To be successful in the role we require open communication with myself, with the team and with stakeholders and providing valuable insights into current processes.
