We’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused IT Technician to join our Global Service Desk team, supporting DLF users across Oceania, North America, South America, and Europe. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a global IT function, helping deliver seamless technical support that keeps our international business connected.
About the role
In this role, you’ll provide frontline IT support across a wide range of systems, hardware, and business applications. You’ll handle service requests and incidents, troubleshoot technical issues, and help optimise user productivity across the global network. You’ll also support site visits within Oceania, contribute to system documentation and compliance, and collaborate closely with IT colleagues and vendors worldwide.
As part of our 24/5 Service Desk, you’ll work flexible shifts (8am–5pm, 9am–6pm or 10am–7pm depending on the season) to ensure global coverage. This is balanced with a hybrid setup, typically 2–3 days from home each week.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a first point of contact for IT support, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, Teams phones, and business applications.
- Log and resolve incidents and requests using IT Service Management tools.
- Troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Windows OS, VPN clients, and basic networking issues.
- Support user access rights, device provisioning, and software deployment.
- Collaborate with regional and global IT colleagues to improve processes and share knowledge.
- Contribute to compliance, security, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What we’re looking for
- A tertiary qualification in IT or related field, or 1+ years’ experience in a service desk/technical support role.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Windows environments, and basic networking.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g. TOPdesk) and service management processes.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a structured, customer-first approach.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to support users across multiple regions.
- Awareness of or empathy with the agricultural sector is an advantage.
