About the Role
As a Junior Credit Writer, you’ll help prepare accurate, high-quality loan applications and assist clients with ongoing mortgage maintenance. You’ll work closely with our brokers, clients, and lenders to organise financial information, ensure documentation is complete, and present a clear picture of each client’s situation.
We’ll provide full training and ongoing support to help you succeed and grow with us as we continue to expand.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting in the preparation and structuring of loan applications
Carrying out maintenance requests on existing mortgages including re-fixes and restructures
Reviewing client documents such as income verification and bank statements
Communicating with brokers and clients to clarify or gather missing information
Ensuring applications are accurate, well-presented, and meet lender requirements
Supporting the team with administrative tasks and application tracking
What We’re Looking For
Education: A background or interest in finance, lending, property, or economics is beneficial to this role
Attention to Detail: Confident working with numbers and documents with accuracy
Communication Skills: Clear and professional written and verbal communication
Proactive Mindset: Eager to learn, take initiative, and contribute to team success
Organisation: Able to manage your time and keep up in a fast-paced environment
Work Eligibility: Must be legally able to work in New Zealand and available to work from our Auckland office
