Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Kaitatari Pumanawa Tangata - HR Reporting and Insights Analyst. In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of position records across our HRIS and payroll systems. Your work will underpin workforce planning, budgeting, and reporting -ensuring our data is accurate, compliant, and strategically valuable.
You'll provide expert advice on position management, deliver high-quality HR and payroll reporting, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Your insights will help shape the future of our workforce and contribute to the success of our Strategic Plan.
The salary range for this role is: $79,220 - $107,180 (Band 15) gross per annum.
Key responsibilities include the following:
- Maintain accurate position records in Oracle HCM and payroll systems
- Conduct system checks and resolve data discrepancies
- Deliver timely and accurate HR and payroll reports
- Enhance reporting tools and processes for greater efficiency
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Contribute to workforce planning and benchmarking projects
- Promote a safe and healthy work environment
O pumanawa - About you
We are looking for an analyst with:
- experience in HR position management and data governance
- a strong knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems (Oracle HCM and Ascender preferred)
- advanced analytical skills and attention to detail
- proficiency in Office 365 and SharePoint
- excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- the proven ability to work collaboratively.
