Are you passionate about education and advancing Māori nursing? We are seeking a dedicated registered nurse to join our team in delivering the Bachelor of Nursing Degree. The new curriculum programme focusses on teaching nursing practices through a te ao Māori lens and provides new, exciting content that requires you to teach in a kaupapa Māori (Māori-centred) way.

The key responsibilities for the role are:
- Extensive Nursing knowledge
- Cultural competence in tikanga Māori and associated practices
- Highly developed communication, organisational, and planning skills
- A student-focused teaching approach that engages and inspires learners
- The ability to adapt teaching styles to meet diverse learning needs
- A supportive and inclusive attitude, fostering a positive learning environment
Desired:
- Experience in curriculum development and tertiary teaching
- Competence in te reo Māori
About you / He kōrero mōu
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Be a registered Nurse with a current APC
- An Adult Teaching Certificate (or willingness to complete)
- A minimum of 5 years clinical experience
- Previous education experience, either in tertiary education or similar
- Proven knowledge of te reo me ōna tikanga
