We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Laboratory Assistant to join our team in Hamilton, New Zealand. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support in our laboratory environment, ensuring accurate data collection, and maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.
- Assist with various laboratory experiments and procedures, following established protocols and guidelines
- Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, and supplies
- Accurately record and document experimental data and observations
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment, ensuring proper storage and disposal of materials
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to support laboratory operations
- Perform basic data entry and documentation tasks using computer systems
- Adhere to all laboratory safety protocols and procedures

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols precisely
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain a clean and orderly laboratory environment

- Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation
- Previous experience working in a laboratory setting (preferred)
- Knowledge of relevant laboratory safety protocols (preferred)
