Te Haeata/The Opportunity
Land is a key component of any Treaty of Waitangi settlement. We are looking for someone who can work on land that could be included in settlements. You will investigate land that could be included as redress, coordinate specialist skills and tasks related to the land and provide instructions on the land to be included in settlement bills and deeds. You will work closely with the negotiation teams.

We are looking for someone who has complete a law degree; or has technical land skills such as surveying, GIS, mapping or valuation.
We are looking for someone who has:
- knowledge of land law
- knowledge of Treaty of Waitangi issues
- knowledge of government structures and processes
- project management experience
- experience of working and relating well with a wide range of people
- experience of working effectively in both individual and team situations
- well-developed written and oral communication skills
- familiarity with core Microsoft Office programmes (Word, Outlook, Excel) and basic computer literacy
- GIS or georgraphy skills would be useful
- knowledge of Crown owned land issues is an advantage.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $84,562 and $116,273 based on skills and experience.
