We are looking for Supported Learning Lecturer within the School of Education team with a real passion for inclusive teaching and learning to support the delivery of our Inclusive Education programmes.
This position will be instrumental in the delivery of programmes supporting adult learners with differing learning and intellectual abilities. You will work closely with the teaching team including a tutorial assistant and work experience providers to deliver a programme that ensures our graduates are prepared and ready to step into their communities with greater skills for independent living and supported learning and ultimately employment or further study.

What will I be doing?
- Developing and delivering teaching content, resources & assessment within the programme to facilitate high learner engagement and success in a blended environment
- Visiting and engaging with ākonga s and their work experience providers around Auckland
- Engaging and developing connections with our external and internal stakeholders - including work experience providers, whānau and/or support networks.

Maintaining currency of practice through professional development and/or further study (if required)
- Experience working/teaching with foundation level programmes
- Experience working with ākonga with varying learning and physical needs would be advantageous
- Must have or agree to work towards New Zealand Certificate in Adult Literacy and Numeracy Education (Level 5) in 2024.
- A qualification at level 5 or higher
