We are looking for a legally trained person to step into a newly created Legal Compliance & Risk Analyst role, working in support of the existing Compliance / Risk / AML team.

The role includes assisting:
- Assisting the Compliance / Risk team with managing our compliance with NZ Law Society rules, conflicts management, client engagement arrangements, privacy / cyber and other policies.
- Assisting our AML Compliance Officer support our legal team with customer due diligence and record keeping.
- Supporting training of our people in relation to risk matters and AML / CFT policies.
We are ideally looking for someone with:
- a legal background, including a good understanding of contract law and also corporate and trust structures;
- some experience in AML/CFT compliance;
- strong written and record keeping skills;
- attention to detail; and
- the ability to work relatively autonomously.
You will report directly to, and be supported by, our Legal Support Director.
