Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting for a permanent, full-time Library Assistant to join the Collection Access team.

Key responsibilities:

• Delivering material to clients via the Library’s resource delivery services.
• Undertaking a range of operational activities which support the access and discoverability of the Library’s physical collections.

Key requirements:

• Demonstrated experience providing high quality customer service.
• Demonstrated experience working effectively within a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
• The ability to respond to a diverse range of client needs.
• Demonstrated experience of being well organised and accurate with daily tasks.
• The ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, such as the lifting and movement of books and other material around the Library.
