This is a 7 day a week operation where flexibility with working hours is required as there are a range of shifts required to cover this operation, which includes working nights when log vessels are loading. There is an initial starting rate from $31.50 gross per hour and at this stage we only have casual hours available.
Experience in a port environment and/or forestry experience would be highly regarded, as well as an ability to operate log loading machinery.
Essential requirements for the position are:
Experience in operating pivot steer log loaders & high stackers
A minimum Class 1 licence with W endorsement
A strong focus on Health and Safety
An ability to work to deadlines
Flexibility and reliability
A positive approach towards teamwork
You may be required to demonstrate your abilities in the form of a practical pre-employment assessment as part of the selection process.
