We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our Queenstown Rentals team in New Zealand.
About the Role:
Are you passionate about ensuring top-notch quality and functionality? As an Maintenance Technician at thl, you'll play a crucial role in making sure our rental guests have a safe and comfortable experience. You'll be part of a dynamic team, working together to support our operational efficiency and company goals.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: While prior experience as an RV technician or in a similar trade is valued, it's not mandatory. We value your repair skills and a minimum of a restricted driver's license.
- Skills and Attributes:
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and requests.
- Willingness to learn new tasks and skills.
- Participation in training and development activities.
- Responsibility for the quality and completion of your tasks.
- Appreciation for quality assurance.
- Positive contribution to team morale and service delivery.
- Adaptability to a changing environment.
- Conduct pre-hire checks on our vehicles to identify any issues.
- Repair interior vehicle faults to our high standards.
- Perform basic mechanical repairs on various makes and models.
- Ensure all daily tasks are completed on time.
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Work as part of a team to achieve productivity targets.
- Assist with the upkeep and cleaning of branch sites.
- Help with stocktake when required.
- Support the on-road assistance and customer service teams.
- Enter workshop data when needed.
- Drive and deliver vehicles to branches and customers.
- Change gas bottles and refuel vehicles.
- Assist with vehicle detailing.
- Help with the check-in and check-out process for customers.
- Actively participate in our Health and Safety system.
- Perform other duties as required.
