We've been BUZZed and seeking an experienced and qualified Marine Engineer (Diesel) to make a BUZZ in Fiji! Newly created role due to company growth!We've been BUZZed to find a Diesel Marine Engineer, to join an expanding marine business in the South Pacific. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will be the vital cog in the operations, maintaining current and new vessels joining the fleet. This is a hands on role; teaching, guiding and mentoring a team of 12....BUZZing????
You will be someone who plays a key leadership role within the diesel marine department but also across the wider company. The successful applicant will be able to handle logistical challenges, work under pressure, and always have a high level of focus on preventative maintenance and risk management. The successful applicant must be willing and able "hands on leader" and support the business which operates 365 days of the year.

Requirements, Qualifications and Skills:
- Vast experience and relevant qualifications in a similar field or position.
- A sound knowledge of diesel engineering, with a marine focus being advantageous.
- Be able to lead an Engineering department made up of various skillsets and trades.
- Be able to develop key relationships internally and externally with various stakeholders.
- Be able to manage a budget and expenditure.
- Be able to manage stock levels and engineering stores.
- Be able to manage preventative maintenance and risk management programs.
- Be extremely dependable, and a willing contributor to the senior management team.
- Salary NZD $120,000 - $130,000
