About the Role

Our Radiology Department houses 4 state of the art MRI scanners:
- A 1.5T Siemens Sola scanner located at Auckland City Hospital, this caters for cardiac imaging and a mix of in and out-patient work.
- A 3T Siemens Vida scanner located at Auckland City Hospital, this caters for mostly acute and in-patient work.
- A 3T Siemens Skyra scanner located at Greenlane Clinical Centre for out-patient examinations.
- A 3T Siemens Skyra located at Starship Children’s Hospital, this is a mix of in and out-patient paediatrics and some adult work.

Radiology in Auckland spans four major specialist departments:
- Auckland City Hospital
- Starship Children’s Hospital
- Greenlane Clinical Centre
- National Women's Health
Together, we are powered by a dedicated team of 350+ professionals, including MITs, MRI Technologists, Nuclear Medicine Technologist, Radiologists, Nurses, and Clerical staff.
The Scale of Our Impact:
- 7-day radiology service across Auckland City and Starship Children’s Hospitals
- 40 terabytes of imaging data stored in our archive – 9 years of diagnostic history
- 48 MIT students trained annually in a collaborative and supportive environment
- Around 800 procedures and 50,000 images produced every single day

About You
We're seeking passionate and skilled MRI Technologists who thrive in high-volume, high-tech environments and are committed to excellence in patient care. Whether you are newly qualified or bringing years of experience, you will find unmatched professional growth and purpose here.
You will be required to work shifts between 7am to 8.30pm – Monday to Sunday (rostered shifts) and work across three sites at Adult Radiology at Auckland City Hospital, Paediatric Radiology at Starship Hospital and our Outpatient Clinic at Greenlane Clinical Centre.

To be successful in this role:
- You must be registered with the New Zealand MRT Board and have a current Annual Practicing Certificate to be considered. For more details visit: mrtboard.org.nz
- As an ideal candidate, you will have experience in MRI
