We have positions available for new staff to join our Christchurch Microbiology Laboratory operations team on a casual contract as well as a permanent eight - hours on Friday.
Casual Role:
The casual role will be quite varied and will include a range of lab housekeeping duties, sample registration, sample preparation, filtration, and conducting routine bench tests . Some lifting will be required in this role.
This position would suit a candidate who is looking to increase their range of laboratory skills, is very flexible with their time , and is available to work at short notice, including evenings and weekends.
Permanent Part- Time Role :
The permanent eight-hour role on Friday is rostered hours between a 7am and 9pm timeframe . Working additional hours may be available when required .
This opportunity would also suit candidates who are currently studying or those looking for a change in career and wanting to develop new skills in a fast - paced, friendly environment.
