About the role

We are seeking a clinical dietitian to join our acute inpatient dietetics team based at Dunedin Hospital. This varied role spans acute medical, surgical and rehabilitative inpatient care. You'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient wellbeing and outcomes across the continuum of care.

An interest or experience in areas such as head and neck cancer, surgical or paediatrics would be advantageous. Skills in enteral and parenteral nutrition support are essential.

You'll work closely with our wider multidisciplinary team (MDT) and actively contribute to safe, patient-centred care. In return, you'll be supported by a collegial and experienced dietetic team who are passionate about learning and professional development.

  • A growth mindset and openness to mentoring or supervising early career dietitians (if appropriate)

You must be a New Zealand registered dietitian, hold a current annual practising certificate and have dietitian prescriber endorsement.
