About the role

We are looking for a generalist Clinical Dietitian to join our Outpatient and Community Dietetics team, based at Wakari Hospital, Dunedin. This 0.5 FTE role offers variety, autonomy and the opportunity to support patients across a broad range of clinical presentations.

You'll work with people managing long-term conditions, nutrition-related complications, enteral feeding, and recovery post-discharge. This role includes a mix of face-to-face outpatient clinics, some virtual outpatient clinics and community-based care.

While the role covers general outpatient nutrition, interest or experience in areas such as bariatrics, oncology, paediatrics or gastroenterology would be an advantage. This position suits a dietitian who enjoys working across diverse populations and conditions, and who brings confidence and adaptability to their practice.
