Are you ready to join a fast-paced, innovative team where your skills make a real impact from day one? We have an exciting opportunity for an Organisational Development Advisor to join our Organisational Development team, that sits in our wider People & Culture business group.
We have a full-time, permanent opportunity based at either our Kenepuru or Christchurch Science Centre for an OD Advisor to provide practical advice and guidance to our people on a wide range of OD initiatives which align with our overarching organisational strategy and direction.
Reporting to the Organisational Development Manager, the OD Advisor is responsible for delivering support, coordination and guidance related to people initiatives and programmes of work including employee engagement, learning and development, DEI, induction and performance. The role will be responsible for coordinating employee engagement across the organisation including leading our engagement champion cohort. The role holder will also develop e-learning solutions in Workday Learning for the organisation in conjunction with Subject Matter Experts across the organisation.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to use collaborative, creative approaches in developing and implementing organisational solutions to enhance the employee experience and build a strong science workforce for the future.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in HR, Learning & Development or Industrial & Organisational Psychology.
- Familiarity or experience with HR systems or databases.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and the ability to learn other software/systems.
- A growth mind-set, coupled with a high level of initiative and energy to work and collaborate with internal teams.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage with and manage effective relationships with a wide range of customers.
- Critical problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively process and interpret information.
- Previous experience in Learning & Development or with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration or tools would be desirable, but not essential.
