About the Role
Our client is looking for a reliable and physically fit Packer to join their assembly team. This is a hands-on, physical role in a fast-paced factory environment, helping ensure products are packed accurately and efficiently. The position is temp-to-perm, offering the opportunity for a longer-term role for the right candidate. The role involves packing commercial appliances and related equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pack assembled products accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with the assembly process as required.
- Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Lift and move items up to 20 kg safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Follow quality standards to ensure products are packed correctly.
- Physically fit and comfortable lifting up to 20 kg.
- Previous experience in packing or assembly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain safety standards.
- Must be available for long-term work as this is a temp-to-perm role.
- Must pass pre-employment checks.
- Must have reliable transport to and from Rolleston.
- No sponsorship available.
- Monday to Friday, 6:45 am – 3:15 pm.
- Time and a half (T1.5) for any hours worked over 40 per week.
- Rates TBC starting from $25.00 plus 8% holiday pay.
