About the Role
As Payroll Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and compliant operation of payroll across the RealNZ group. You'll lead a talented team, champion digital transformation, and work closely with leaders across the business to deliver exceptional experiences for our people.
You'll oversee all aspects of payroll processing, compliance, and reporting, while also driving continuous improvement in systems and processes. From managing legislative changes and audit requirements to supporting the implementation of new technology, your work will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our People & Performance operations.
You'll also be a key voice in our digital transformation journey - mapping workflows, optimising systems, and ensuring our payroll platforms are future-ready. Your leadership will help shape a culture of trust, innovation, and inclusiveness, where our people feel supported and empowered.
What You'll Bring
- Tertiary qualification in Payroll, HR, or a related discipline or equivalent experience
- Experience in end-to-end payroll operations
- Proven leadership experience managing payroll teams
- Strong knowledge of PAYE, financial reporting, and compliance requirements
- Experience implementing new systems and driving process improvements
- A tech-savvy mindset and confidence with digital tools
