Our Great Lake Physio branch in Taupo is looking for next star Physiotherapist to work in a busy musculoskeletal and sports practice providing acute assessment and treatment plans for our clients. We also work on a variety of ACC contracts including VOC, Training for independence, concussion and pain management. We are located next to the town’s largest modern gym, and we utilise this facility for most of our exercise rehabilitation.
We are closely aligned with most of the local sports clubs due to our strong interest in sports physiotherapy and provide physiotherapy for the provincial rugby union (King Country). We provide physio cover for many of the sports tournaments that move through Taupo each year.
This role is suited for a clinician who is passionate about what they do but who also values a unique quality of life – think scenic lakefront settings, biking trails and stunning walkways, all whilst you continue work that is built around purpose and care. Main Responsibilities
- Assess acute injuries and provide treatment for a variety of conditions
- Develop / implement in-clinic and community rehabilitation programmes
- Liaise with allied health team members
- Create patient reports on client abilities, goals and best practice intervention

- Must have NZ Physio registration and current APC
- Two plus years’ experience is advantageous
- Full NZ Driver’s license for community rehabilitation
