We are hiring for Lixin Plumbing Ltd, a professional plumbing services company based in Bucklands Beach, Auckland. We provide reliable plumbing solutions for residential and light commercial clients across the Auckland region. To support our expanding workload, we are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Plumber to join our team.

Number of people need: 1
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Days Required: Needs to be available from Monday to Saturday, between 7:30am to 6:30 pm
May need to work during weekends or public holidays;
Hourly Rate: $28 - $30
Hours per Week: Guaranteed minimum 30 hours per week. Up to 50 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing water supply and drainage systems in homes and small commercial premises
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and materials
- Assembling and installing pipes, fixtures, valves, and fittings
- Locating and clearing blockages in drainage systems and repairing burst pipes
- Performing pressure tests and inspections to ensure leak-free installations
- Collaborating with builders and other trades on-site to complete plumbing works according to project timelines
- Adhering to health and safety standards and maintaining clean and safe work areas
- Recording service information and materials used for job tracking
Requirements for the applicants:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant plumbing experience OR a plumbing trade qualification or apprenticeship
- Sound knowledge of water supply, drainage systems, and New Zealand plumbing regulations
- Skilled in using plumbing tools, diagnostic equipment, and pipe installation techniques
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual and sometimes confined space work
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel between sites
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Ability to attend an onsite interview preferred
