The role
We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Project Manager to join our OnAccount team. Ideally, you will have a couple of years of experience and are ready to take the next step up in your career. As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of a variety of software solutions for large and small clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who enjoys variety and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple software development and implementation projects of different sizes for a small development team across a variety of clients and our standard product.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and scope, objectives, and success criteria.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Proactively manage project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and our customers.
- Maintain a high level of customer service, manage customer support systems, and ensure timely response and resolution.
- Manage oversight of the system release process.
- Maintain our product and client documents and knowledge base.
Requirements:
- A Project Manager who possesses creativity and has the desire to understand our clients business, not wanting to sit back and just monitor.
- Accounting software knowledge is essential to add value to clients as business and technical partners, as well as contribute to our product development.
- Outstanding organisational skills to work across concurrent development streams and the ability to be flexible when plans change.
- The ability to communicate complex ideas effectively across all areas of the business, both verbally and in writing.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects.
- Strong technical understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies.
