Transitioning Auckland's transport network on such a mammoth scale is no mean feat and we need a talented team to ensure we are up to this task.
The Data Administrator- CRL FIXED TERM (June 2025 to March 2026) role will ensure the Transit Master Data System (TMDS) operational changes follow the TMDS operational process.
Working closely with the PT Data Business Analyst, the Data Administrator liaises with the AIFS change control team during the life of the AIFS project and post the AIFS project ensures the BAU processes are followed to meet Auckland Transport's TMDS system operational needs, particularly relating to IVU data quality and completeness.
Te Whiwhinga mahi - The Opportunity- Key Tasks
- Provide advice and support for PT transit change requests from PT Operations and other Auckland Transport departments to ensure that Auckland Transport downstream systems receive high quality, reliable information
- Accurately capture and maintain PT transit data change requests
- Maintain the TDMS change calendar in liaison with the PT Operations team and also the AIFS (Auckland Integrated Fare System) change team during the life of the AIFS project
- Develop and refine processes and requirements for transit data accuracy
- Develop and maintain subject matter expertise around the transit data plan/pool and relevant operational extract process and procedures.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process and systems improvement
- Work with team and relevant parties to develop and execute
Ko koe tēnei | About youecific Experience Minimum:
- A recognised tertiary qualification in Information Technology or related discipline
- ITIL qualifications such as change management / release management.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar data administrator role
- Experience in the practical use and application of IVU
- Experience in IVU support in related areas, such as transport, land use transport planning
- Experience in IVU data capture maintenance
- Understanding and knowledge of transport planning and systems
