What You'll Be Doing | Mō te Tūranga
As the Quality Assurance Integration Lead, you’ll lead testing efforts across integration projects to ensure systems work together smoothly and data flows correctly. You’ll focus on testing APIs, middleware, and end-to-end integrations, especially using platforms like Dell Boomi.
You’ll define testing strategies, guide QA team members, and work closely with developers, architects, and project teams to deliver reliable, scalable integration solutions that support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead QA planning and execution for integration projects, including API and middleware testing.
- Mentor and manage QA team members, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Align QA efforts with project goals by working with cross-functional teams.
- Review and improve test plans, test cases, and automation strategies.
- Drive automation using tools like Postman and Playwright, and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Track testing progress, report quality metrics, and manage risks.
About You | Mōu
You’re a strong leader with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. You bring over 8 years of experience in software testing, including at least 5 years focused on integration and API testing. You know how to guide teams, align testing with business goals, and ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Strong understanding of APIs, middleware, and system integrations
- Experience leading and mentoring QA teams
- Great communicator with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Skilled at spotting and managing risks early
- Focused on improving QA processes and tools
- Familiar with Agile and CI/CD practices
- Hands-on experience testing APIs with tools like Postman or Swagger
- Knowledge of automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, and Datadog
- Comfortable using test management tools like JIRA or Xray
