What You Will Be Doing
As a Refrigeration Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver end-to-end refrigeration design services, including equipment sizing and selection.
- Coordinate with architects, electrical engineers, and other disciplines to integrate refrigeration systems seamlessly.
- Align design solutions with client requirements and attend design meetings to ensure stakeholder engagement.
- Produce detailed drawings, job specifications, and cost estimates for refrigeration projects.
- Prepare as-built documentation and maintenance proposals, and conduct design-to-as-built reviews..
- Conduct site visits, gather data, and present competitive bids.
- Actively promote the company’s services and maintain strong industry relationships.
- Stay informed on industry trends and developments that may impact the business.

What You Need
To excel in this role, you will need:
- An engineering degree, diploma or trade certificate
- Experience in the design of refrigeration systems, including CO2 systems
- Demonstrated ability to manage workload effectively, prioritise tasks, and meet project deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients and stakeholders.
