Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Retail Assistantx2 who can create a positive shopping experience for the customers while supporting the store’s efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
· Perform all duties in accordance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
· Help to maximize sales through effective and proper procedures for stocking, rotating, and merchandising product, both on the sales floor and in the back rooms and coolers/freezer
· Perform basic maths functions to collect payments and make change
· Scanning goods and ensuring pricing is accurate
· Operate registers, scanners, scales, and POS terminals
· Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
· Redeem stamps and coupons
· Memorize product locations throughout the store and be able to direct customers or make suggestions
. Reporting customer complaints to the owner
· Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner
· Assists team leader with Stock taking, ordering and inventory management
. Collect payments and bag purchases for customers
· Maintain accurate cash drawer
· Take a tally of the funds in the cash register when required during a shift and produce transaction reports
. Handling merchandise returns and exchanges.
· Recommend products to customers to ensure they get the products they want and need
· Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly price changes by updating shelf tags and signs
Skills Requirements:
- Either a minimum of six months of work experience in retail or relevant field or any qualification including secondary schooling is acceptable in case of no experience (overseas equivalent qualification is also acceptable)
- Ability to manage inventory, stock levels, and vendor relationships effectively.
- A customer-first mindset with a passion for delivering excellent service.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
