Are you passionate about body art, precision, and people? We're looking for a Retail Sales Assistant and Body Piercing Apprentice to join our close-knit team and learn the art and responsibility of safe, beautiful piercing, with potential for permanent role.
What You'll Be Doing:
1. Piercing Services (Training Provided):
- Assist senior piercers with hygiene, setup, and procedure preparation
- Learn and perform ear, nose, and body piercings safely and professionally
- Support clients with aftercare education and follow-up
- Maintain strict hygiene protocols and a spotless studio environment
- Progress to performing piercings independently after training
2. Sales & Customer Service:
- Greet clients warmly and offer knowledgeable, friendly service
- Help customers choose jewelry and explain services
- Operate our POS system accurately, including cash handling
- Monitor and restock inventory as needed
3. Team Collaboration:
- Contribute to a positive, supportive team culture
- Participate in training and staff meetings
- Assist with day-to-day studio operations
About You:
We're looking for someone who brings more than just interest. You should demonstrate:
- A high level of maturity and responsibility
- Excellent communication skills with a warm and professional manner
- Patience, empathy, and emotional intelligence, especially with nervous or young clients
- Great attention to detail, time management, and ability to work under pressure
- An eager and proactive learner
Bonus points if you have a background or interest in:
- Healthcare, fashion, design, visual arts, or similar people-focused fields
*Due to the responsibilities of working with minors and ensuring safety and emotional support during procedures, we are seeking applicants who can demonstrate a high level of maturity and responsibility. Experience working with children is a strong advantage.
