Job Description: Rotational Store Manager
Position Title: Rotational Manager – Liquorland Waiheke Island
Locations: Waiheke Island
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Reporting To: Franchise Owner
Key Responsibilities
- Store Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations of both Liquorland stores on a rotational basis.
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain high standards of store presentation, cleanliness, and stock display.
- Staff Supervision & Training
- Lead and manage store teams, including rostering, performance reviews, and conflict resolution.
- Train staff on product knowledge, customer service, and responsible alcohol sales.
- Inventory & Stock Control
- Monitor stock levels, conduct regular audits, and manage stock transfers between stores.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and accurate inventory records.
- Sales & Customer Engagement
- Drive sales targets and implement promotional strategies.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve escalated customer issues.
- Financial Oversight
- Manage cash handling, banking, and daily reconciliations.
- Assist in budgeting, expense tracking, and profitability analysis.
- Compliance & Licensing
- Ensure both stores operate within the parameters of their liquor licenses.
- Maintain training records and ensure all staff meet legal requirements for alcohol sales.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience with qualification in retail or hospitality management, preferably in liquor.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work across multiple locations and adapt to changing schedules.
- Knowledge of New Zealand liquor licensing laws.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in POS systems and basic financial reporting.
Work Conditions
- Weekend and evening availability required.
- Must be eligible to work in New Zealand and hold a valid manager’s certificate
