Sales Assistant

Mobil The Gardens is presently looking for staff.
This station requires Sales Assistants for night shift to join the team. Our business is
open 7 days a week and the role requires working a variable roster, including weekend
work.

performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Engage with customers, asks questions and drive sales.

• Support the Store Manager with an array of operational tasks and projects, including stock

• ordering, stock takes, banking, cash handling, merchandising and much more.

Restocking depleted or low store items.

• Attending to customers who require assistance at the pumps.

• Labelling goods and ensuring the correct price is displayed.

• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards according to establish guidelines.

• Assisting the service delivery team with orders.

• Opening and closing of premises and associated security.

• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.

• Performing end-of-day cleaning duties, which includes wiping down windows, mirrors, and fixtuas well as sweeping and mopping the shop floor.

• Processing customer payments using the store's Point of Sale (POS) system.

Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of store items to provide advice and recommendations as needed.

• Any other duties as required to ensure the effective operation of the store

Qualification, Experience and Personal Attributes Required

Previous experience in retail sector is prefered, not mandatory. We are happy to train the right candidate

Great communication skills.

Ability to lift weight upto 10 kg and work on weekends

Pay & Benefits
Hourly rate starts ranges between $25 and $30 for full-time, permanent roles with
a minimum of 30 hours guaranteed.
