Sales Assistant - Christchurch (Torpedo7)

We’re on the lookout for three Sales Assistants to join our energetic Christchurch team. If you’re passionate about the outdoors, enjoy a fast-paced retail environment, and want to be part of a close-knit crew - this could be your perfect fit.

Role 1:

(35 hours per week)

• Monday (10:00 - 17:30)
• Tuesday (10:00 - 17:30)
• Friday (10:00 - 17:30)
• Saturday (10:00 - 17:30)
• Sunday (09:45 - 17:15)

Role 2:

(35 hours per week)

• Monday (08:45 - 16:15)
• Thursday (08:45 - 16:30)
• Friday (08:45 - 16:15)
• Saturday (08:45 - 16:15)
• Sunday (09:45 - 17:00)

Role 3:

(13.8 hours per week)

• Saturday (08:45 - 16:15)
• Sunday (09:45 - 17:00)

What you’ll be doing:

• Delivering awesome, customer-focused service every day
• Using your product knowledge to help customers find the right gear for their adventures
• Merchandising stock and keeping the store looking sharp
• Staying on top of promos and new product drops
• Working collaboratively to smash team goals
• Bringing great energy, initiative, and a team-first attitude to every shift

What we’re looking for:

• You’re into the outdoors, fitness, or adventure sports — and love talking about it
• You’ve got a positive, approachable attitude and great communication skills
• You’re reliable, flexible, and happy to work weekends and public holidays when needed
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a bonus — but not essential
• You’re a team player who thrives in a busy, fast-moving environment
