- Office based - New Lynn, Auckland
- Fixed term position - Starting asap for 6-7 months
- Full time hours, from 8:30AM to 5PM
- Monday to Thursday weekly and alternating between working Friday and Sunday each week
- $23.84 - $25.95 per hour, depending on relevant skills and experience

IDEA Services supports people with intellectual disabilities to enjoy great lives as part of their communities. As a Schedule Coordinator you will be scheduling Support Workers to meet on-going roster needs to effectively deliver our support services. You will be preparing advanced rosters as well as filling short-notice sick leave when needed. This is a vital role to ensure the people we support receive excellent services with minimal disruptions.
You will be in frequent contact with our team of Support Workers to arrange shift cover. Great communication, customer services skills and the ability to build positive relationships will be essential. Changes and challenges can arise unexpectantly, so your ability to problem solve and come up with solutions quickly will be highly valued.
Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring
- Previous scheduling or rostering experience is preferred
- Previous experience working in Health and Disability would be highly valued
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Great customer service skills
- The ability to build rapport and positive professional relationships
- The ability to plan your workload efficiently and work autonomously
- High level of attention to detail
- Confidence with computer systems including Microsoft Office suite, and the aptitude to learn new systems quickly
