We have a fantastic opportunity for a solutions-focused individual with strong administrative and organisational skills. This is a busy role and we are looking for an experienced and passionate Administrator to join our passionate team in the Clinical Records Department at Rotorua Hospital.

About the Role
We need an experienced administrator, with proven organisational skills, clear communication both written and verbal along with having a keen eye for detail. This includes maintaining accurate patient records on the patient information system and processing of patient documentation and record requests.
About the Team/Service/ Location
Our department consists of two Clinical Records Teams, one based in Rotorua and one in Taupo along with our Clinical Coding Team. As part of the Clinical Records team, you will communicate, liaise and work with other NZ Health Lakes staff, internal and external stakeholders.

- Strong clinical and administrative history
- Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology, with an understanding of clinical issues and procedures
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Excellent organisational time management and prioritisation skills
- The ability to manage a complex and demanding workload
- To be pro-active and able to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent key board skills, using Word, Excel & Outlook
- Logistical and methodical
